I like to race 1/2 marathons and marathons in lightweight trainers. I have had a lot of good experiences with Saucony Kinvara 5. I am very curious about Adidas' boost technology and am considering the pure boost 2.0. The weight of the original pure boost is advertised at 6.6 oz for women and 6.9 oz for men on the Adidas website. I have had a lot of trouble finding the weight of the pure boost 2.0 (especially on the Adidas website). Eastbay lists the weight of the pure boost 2.0 at 7 oz for women and 8 oz for men. Is the pure boost 2.0 really 0.4 oz heavier than the original pure boost for women? How might this affect race performance?
