What's up everyone. I graduated in May of 2014 from my university and have basically been a slug since then. I played soccer a lot upon graduating but didn't really run much at all. I started lifting weights in January of this year and have been lifting 4 times a week since I started.
College times:
800m: 1:56 split in 4x8
1000m: 2:32 split in 1200m DMR leg.
1200m: 3:05 dmr
1500m: 4:03
3k: 9:03
5k: 15:35
8k: 26:09
4 mile TT: 20:12
I want to get back into running but am indecisive about what distance to train for. In college I was a decent cross country runner and did ok in the longer distances during track.
I sort of want to train for 800/1500 just because it won't be as time consuming as having to run 80 miles a week for the longer stuff. I have a career now and work 40 hours a week. I'd still like to keep lifting though....
I need some guidance lol
