Hello, im from the Netherlands and im 15 years old now im at athletics for 4 months now, before that i used to run allot at home, cause i love it, is used to run almost every day, and i'm playing football from my sixth.
Since my 13th i already dream to become a professional runner, now i'm reading allot at letsrun.com and i read all about kenyans how they run when they're 6 years old to school and back (around 10-12 miles every day)
Is there actually a chance that peope like me who didnt have to run to school every single day from young age, can reach the top?,
see, i didn't know i had to run 10-12 miles a day at 6 years old and nobody recommends me to do that i think
(DONT THEY GET INJURED?)
.. but it makes me feel to just stop run because i dont achieve anything (I dont run for only achievements i like to run too)...
Im already training hard now and i've got allot of speed and a little bit of talent and over 4-5 months i want just to train like them, but isn't to late?
What do i need now to become great?
Do i have to train everyday at AM and PM ?
Or like 50 miles a day
