I am suffering pretty badly at the moment (and probably forever) with knee osteoarthritis. I know that each time Im going out running im going to end up making it a whole lot worse.. though on good days it does help with my knees mobility. Anyway I really need some good insoles which help with shock as I find that sudden jolts and shocks to my knees is what my osteoarthritis thrives upon. Iv seen quite a few online that look okay however im not sure what I should be buying.. do I go with custom insoles which are fixed in one position so im told so I wouldn't think hat they would be very good at flexing and adapting meaning shock absorption wont be that good or do I settle with some off the shelf ones. Off the shelf ones truth be told i would prefer because they are a lot cheaper.
I also need some insoles to sort out my feet too..... iv had loads of different foot injuries over the years... and its not like I run weirdly.. I think I just have weird feet.
These edunonline ones look good to me:

What do you guys think? Does anyone else have any other suggestions?
Are insoles even the right way to go to stop injury? Or do I need more focus on stretches and exercises to improve strength in my lower limbs instead?
