Dear Coaches and Athletes,
The ALTITUDE Project is a Christian running camp in Mammoth Lakes, California designed to help collegiate distance runners excel in competitive running and Christian living, and establish meaningful and lasting friendships among athletes and coaches nationwide. We want to encourage the development of the total athlete – mind, body, soul, and spirit – and we think this is an excellent forum in which to do so.
Many elite athletes live and train in Mammoth Lakes, California. At an altitude of 7,500 feet, and with hundreds of miles of soft running trails through the beautiful eastern Sierras, Mammoth is an ideal atmosphere to train the body. (Listen to this seminar from camp by Dr. Paul Davis about the positive benefits of altitude training.) Additionally, through seminars, Bible studies, worship times, and personal mentoring, our experienced staff of coaches and athletes will make sure it is an ideal place to develop the mind, soul, and spirit as well.

Since starting the camp in 2004, we have hosted athletes and coaches from nearly every state (as well as a few international athletes), equipping them for the rigors of college athletics and life. We've all had a wonderful time in the process. We hope that you will join us this summer!
