This should shut all the haters up. And all the 'experts' on this board who said temperature changes couldn't account for that much of a drop in PSI.

It was a cooked up B.S. Story from day one.
Jermaine Wiggins put it best, "they hate us cause they ain't us".
Patriots haters still won't be able to help themselves. They just gotta have a reason to hate.
The temperature affected 11 of 12 of the Pats balls sufficiently to deflate them below the acceptable point -- but 0 of 12 for the Colts.
The odds this could happen sans interference are ... Zero
...Except when you realize that teams are allowed to have differently pressurized balls. So, the NFL requires PSI between 12.5-13.5. Say the patriots like to ride the edge with flatter balls, and get certified as legal at 12.5. The colts like the more fully inflated feel, and are certified at 13.5. Then they go out in the same conditions, and both teams lose 1 PSI. When the refs re-check, the Patriots are all of a sudden under, and the Colts are still at the legal 12.5.
Brady has already stated he likes his footballs deflated at the lowest limit. How do you know that Luck has the same preference? For all we know he likes his set to the legal maximum.

Poor Tom's arthritic geezer hands need soft, supple pigskins. I wouldn't even fault the man if they balls were deflated intentionally, tbh.

Actually the difference 1psi was explained in the Letsrun thread. The only difference here was the speculation that a damp ball added another 1psi
Welp, it's not speculation anymore now, is it?
Correct...no more speculation. The locker room attendant has confessed.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
