I would think more like 10-14, maybe more if you count weights and stuff

Depends on what you want to define as a workout. Most of them do 10-13 runs a week with 2-3 of them being speed workouts and 1 being a long run. In addition to this they use the under water treadmill or alter g 3-4 times a week, lift 2-3 times a week, core and mobility drills are probably done 5 days a week but this one I really don't know. You can find a lot of their training online. Honestly its not too much different from traditional training programs except for the focus on lifting, running form, and speed work year around. That and most people don't have underwater treadmills or alter g's.
They do a workout on Tuesday and Friday with a long run on Sunday. Sometimes in base they will squeeze in an extra one (I remember seeing a video of them asking Mo Farah this when they were at altitude camp in New Mexico).
There is also a video of Salazar standing on the track and someone asking him. He gave the same answer.
Yea I was talking about speed workouts, that's pretty interesting
Do alter G's help a lot? What kind of run do you do on them? Like steady state? Are they really good??
In the NXN video Alberto mentioned Mo had run 20 x 400 @ 57 w/ 1 min rec at altitude. Pretty impressive!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
