Anyone else really impressed with what that kid just ran for the 5k indoors? Big things to come from him!

Yea kid was a great high school runner and he just kind of disappeared after a season of XC for Lake Erie.Glad to see him and his teammate doing well. Both dropped very nice times. I hear the new coach over there is doing some really good things.
Yes I was also very impressed. What was the injury or the long layoff for?
It was about a year? Kid has a good shot of winning GLIAC down the road and being a national competitor from what I have seen in his high school races.
Can we not make threads about irrelevant people please? Thank you.
well i feel like this thread relates to me in some way as this coming track season i want to break, 2 for 800m, 4 for 1500m, and 9 for 3000m.
but in the immediate future. (its winter, cross country season here in australia)
i want to break 20 minutes for 6k at my national cross country.
i managed to run 20:50 at state championships off basically no running for 2 weeks before it (hamstring tendonitis), still came 4th and managed to qualify for nationals somehow.
im 16.
anyways.

Hey, 15th at All-Ohio is somewhat relevant! Not bad after two surgeries and many months of injuries. The comeback continues. Although no one calls him Jake any more.
