Do you think that Nike is satisfied with the Pegasus 31 and they will leave it unchanged for the 32 model? or will they tamper with it and possible lower the heel / toe offset?

They already lowered it and took away some of the cushioning and thereby ruined a fabulous shoe.
Perhaps they will add more cushioning to the forefoot and that would lower the heel / toe drop, or if they have deemed the shoe a success they will leave it alone.

Odds are the midsole/outsole will remain the same for the Pegasus 32 with a change to the upper. That seems to be Nike's M.O. lately with the Pegasus: the midsole/outsole is kept for two years with the upper refreshed yearly.
Sales of the Pegasus 31 have been very good, and feedback from my customers positive. If feedback was overwhelmingly negative I could see Nike making a change, but I doubt that will be the case.

Yes, this is correct. I got a look at the shoe today (well, a picture). The midsole and outsole look completely the same, but the upper is moving in the direction that all the shoes are moving (flyknit engineered mesh type upper). Looks pretty good though... not nearly as flashy as the Structure 18. The new Elite 8 looks the same as well, just the new upper.
The Pegasus 32 will have the same exact midsole as the 31.
The update will be in the upper. It will consist of Flymesh and Flywire.
I like the 31, in my opinion could be a tad softer but love the profile.

I would say I like the added firmness to the 31. I wasn't sure at first when I switched from 30 to 31, but I have grown to like it now. The 31 is a more slimmed down shoe while keeping cushion. The 30s were chunkier.
So is there a possibility you can show us the image you've seen? I'm very curious what it looks like! Thanks!
Bring back the 29's!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just went for a test run in the new 32s this evening.
Changes:
Upper over the midfoot and the back of the shoe. The midfoot has the flywire cables and the back of the shoe no longer has those reflective triangle pieces. Not sure if there is still something reflective back there, but it isn't noticeable if so.
No extra islet at the top of the shoe. Doesn't bother me because the new lacing system really locks the foot down well.
The forefoot is slightly more flexible. Runnerworld claimed this to be true in their preview, but I assumed it was just BS as usual from them. I will give credit where credit is due, however. I didn't notice it running, but bending the shoe with my hand was a bit easier in the 32 than the 31 despite the 31 I compared it to having some mileage on it.
That appears to be it. The upper in the front looks the same and the midsole/outsole appear completely untouched. Overall I'd say this is a nice update. The fit is improved with the lacing and they left everything else alone, which is good. The only thing that sucks is the price increase up to 110 bucks, although I don't care since I get shoes for free anyway. Sucks to not be me I guess.
Still though... 110 is cheaper than every major company's primary neutral model... the Ghost, Ride, Rider, 980, Cumulus, Glide, and Clifton are all 120 or 130 now, so Nike still wins.
P.S.: if you want your Peg 29 feel back, go buy the Vomero 10 and quit your whining. It is a really nice update, especially because they took out that terrible, terrible lump out of the forefoot that the Vomero 9 had. WTF were they thinking with that anyway..?
Is the pegasus32 any wider in the forefoot than the 31?
