Figured I would get this thing started for the coming season.
Anyone have any info or exciting news?

Cortland for the team title, not sure how anyone else can stay with their depth in every event. They are the single most dominant team of this century.

Just what I was thinking. Cortland's men probably have the Oneonta guys outnumbered except in the throws (natch), though the women's teams from both schools are very numerous in some events--to the point that Red Dragons may be close to a majority in a few. (Both Cort and Oneo are Red Dragons, right?)
Anyway, the Oneonta performances at this meet were a revelation to me last year, and I was not surprised later to learn that they'd won SUNYAC outdoors.
Oneonta is terrible, they seed their athletes 1.5+ seconds faster than they in the sprints, they should ban them from the Cornell meets for a year to teach them a lesson.
Who cares about the sprints? This is a distance running website and forum.
Will Cohen Miles-Rath (CMR) win both the 3k and 5k indoor SUNYAC individual titles this year? The kid has been doing a lot of biking and easy running.
There are a lot of guys that ran great this XC season. Dont count out any of the guys like Messina, Lupia, Marcantonio, and Iacoveli. They'll surely give Cohen a run for it in the 5k. The 3k is a different story entirely.
Too bad it's the complete teams with sprinters that win the team titles...smh

You must be confused. True distance runners could care less about sprints. And this is a website dedicated to distance running. I wonder if their is a Letssprint website that you could go to for help?
When I ran, I kinda cared about winning titles as an individual and as a team which included all runners. Stick to winning your rinky dink 3K and full TEAMS like Cortland, Oneonta and Buffalo State will keep winning team titles.
It's not your name hanging on the banner at your gym little guy, so get off runners high horse.
After all the distance records from the 800-10k were set by runners from 2011-2013, it seems like things have slowed down in the YAC as of late. Who has the best chance at taking a record this year and in what? Is there even a chance?

So if they could care less, that must mean that "true distance runners" do care about sprints now. Right?
Oh, wait--did you mean they *couldn't* care less? Then why didn't you say so?
I think I know who the confused person is.
Yet you somehow know what I mean...
Mark Streb comes back for 20th year of eligibility and SUNY Geneseo takes the title. You heard it here first. Its not a lie because lying is a sin.
It's a shame SUNY New Paltz has no official Track Team. I'd like to see how Mike Scher competes with the best SUNYAC runners. I heard he's gone sub-4 multiple times and is coming off a huge XC season.
what predictions do we have for 800-5k? early in the season but hey, why not?
Fredonia men bout ta dominate the distances for some reason. What in the name of Satan has happened to Geneseo...

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
