At no level is doping useless. The temptation is there for everyone. The hs also ran, looking to make all state. The jv walk on at a college looking to make the travel team. The age grouper looking to make top 10 at the big local race. They all benefit from doping. Stay ethical and do what is right. In my mind, testing needs to increase ten fold. Elites should be getting tested more than 20 times a year at random.
i think OP means to ask:
at what concentrations are doping agents useful?
the answer will vary by each dopant, but i imagine you get benefits at very low concentrations that aren't detectable.
Doping is useless at the level when the body of the user is no longer able to process any more PEDs.
At my level of slowness going from last by a lot clean to last by a little less than a lot doped does not noticeably change the level of sand in the bottom of the hourglass.
