I'm still in high school, so yes, I know I have time.
But I'm thinking about sports entertainment and marketing
Or
Accounting
Any insights on either?

Double major if you can. If you love sports entertainment or marketing then do those. Have something to fall back on though. You'll never have trouble finding a job with an accounting degree.
Accounting major here.
I think I made a good choice. People like to talk crap and say the job is boring and what not but those people don't understand what accounting is now. Accounting is no longer bookkeeping but rather gathering and presenting information to be used for future decisions. Plus it pays well, even if you don't go to a big 4 firm you can still make 50k a year out of college. Stick to public for a few years, get your CPA and you can get a job almost anywhere in business.

Thanks. How are the hours? How was the CPA?

That has always been the definition of accounting.
There are many areas in accounting. I specialize in consulting and do expert witness testimony for damages in litigation. Love it. I hate book keeping which still exists. However, if you become a CPA you will not be doing book keeping.
Thanks for the responses. 5 years of college for a CPA right?

No you can get the 150 credits in 4.5 years if you take a lot of classes.

That's just to be allowed to take the exam. Then you have to pass it.
