Is it possible to run a 16 minute 5k off 50 miles of treadmill running a week (using the correct inclines to simulate outside conditions)?

Of course it's possible, even probable. The amount of self hatred that you could build up from running only on a dreadmill is unparalleled. The ONLY problem with this style of training, is that you are likely to release all of your self hatred out way too fast. You have to conserve your hatred throughout the entire 5k. So yes it's definitely possible, but it will take a lot of self hatred and a good race plan. I personally think this training style is more suited for a shorter race, such as the 800, where you can rapidly release your built up self hatred.
what are you talking about?
Don't you know anything about running or statistics? Self hatred and speed have a direct correlation, and correlation always proves causation. That is the entire point of training, to build massive contempt for yourself that you can unleash during the next race.
Talented runners probably could flirt with sub-13:00 for 5K on pure treadmill training.

This is such a stupid question because we have no idea how talented you are. If you are very talented then it would be very very easy for you to run sub 16 off of 50mpw. On the other hand you might not have the talent to even break 20 with absolutely ideal training. Maybe some more background information would actually make this question answerable.
I'm a 16 year old ethiopian living in Canada. The reason why I asked this question is because I am in grade 12 and I am so busy with schoolwork that by the time I finish my work it is around 1:00am. So treadmill training is the only option.
I have no background in sports (I focus solely on academics), and I ran 18:45 5k off literally no training (once every two weeks, I would run for 10 minutes outside for fresh air).

Training exceeds talent any day. Ingrid Kristiansen's and Grete Waitz' coach Johan Kaggestad (13.56 for the 5k) said at "any idiot can run a sub 14 min 5K", and he knows what he is talking about. So of course curiusrunner can run a 16 min 5k with 50mpw
