I completed my 2nd marathon 4 weeks go, felt great after. My training peaked at 55. Didn't take any time off after the race, mileage for the last weeks was 10, 20, 21 and 25.
I had been feeling some general soreness on the side of my waistline, just out above my hips. I tried to run through the pain and felt a stabbing pain on my right side and had to stop. Having trouble walking up and downstairs now, and taking some time off.
I think this might be related to ITB, which I never had a problem with. I never stretch or foam roll, and now I think I have Bursitis. Anyone know how to work through this or what exercises/stretches can rehab this injury the fastest? The consensus thus far has been to rest...
