By "work out" I mean any form of exercise that isn't highly aerobic. If I start lifting weights my weight shoots up rapidly. If I stop, my weight falls again. If I run a lot, it will fall more, but I don't run a lot any longer. I told all this to my sister who struggles with weight, and she thought it was crazy that I lose weight when I DON'T work out because she only ever works out to lose weight. It got me wondering if my situation is normal at all.
