I've been a high school coach for 8 years. Moved to a new city. Would love to coach. I have a pretty good "resume" individual state champs, team state titles, school records, all americans etc etc. pat myself on the back blah blah.
However, I have never written a resume out for a job consideration. I don't really know how to format the whole thing, and I was wondering what lrc opinions were on this.
Do I bullet point every individual state winner/placer? how crazy do I get with this? Do I bring it down to conference and county place winners? I mean, not to brag, but that'd be a big number. And frankly, I don't know if I even remember how many there would be.
I was an assistant, mainly sprints, do I list the distance teams accomplishments considering I was assistant xc coach as well and put many sprint athletes into relays that were successful?
thanks, I'm kind of at a loss. And, to be quite honest, I have a college degree, but I'm not terribly smart and have very few skills outside of getting young men and women to run in circles real fast.
