Yea actually this weekend I ran a 18:1x 5k for a PR . I know you can't predict a marathon off a 5k time just saying. My half marathon was my first as well this yr, so I wasn't to ballsy. Like I said that 1/2 marathon course was pretty hilly so possibly you could take 1-2 mins off that barely sub 1:27 performance. Prolly coulda pushed myself a little harder in the beginning. I'm kinda doing it all this yr and throwing everything caution to the wind. 1st half marathon, 1st full marathon that is .
I averaged anywheres from 50-60mpw for 3months for my marathon its a wk from Sun so i'm into my taper now.
The marathon i'm running is pretty flat, and is a Boston qualifier from reading their website.
It's kinda hard to get a gauge of where you're at over the summer months. Earlier this wk we had a cooler day, and I ran 7miles 6:50 pace and it felt pretty comfortable. I know it's only 7 miles jus sayin.
