NB 1400 for most training and racing?
1600 for anything?
Do you use the 890 for easy or long runs?
And finally, do you use the Minimus at all?
Thanks!

1400- racing flats, longer races, longer training runs. example: tempos
1600- racing flats, shorter races, speed workouts. example: mile repeats.
890 - mileage shoe, used for most of the easy running.
1080- mileage shoe, a little more sturdy than the 890's.
minimus- low mileage shoe, use mainly on grass, no more than 35min.

Huh? Well that guy isn't me, close though.
I race and do workouts in 1400's. My old man legs (calves) can't handle the 1600's anymore.
890's for all other running.
I use minimus for gym work. I also dig the new 980's for walking around in, those suckers are comfortable!
Cheers.

Thanks!
I roll 1400s for pretty much all my training runs, but switch to puredrift for shorter intervals. I'm looking into the RC5000s though after the current pair of puredrift goes to hell (they're pretty close). I really wish the 1400s would last a little longer, but they're just not made for how I use them (big miles).
What size feet do you have, Rob? What about Dylan?
I am 6'3" with size 14....will I always be slow? Do you know any elites with big feet?

Same here--love the 1400s as a daily shoe. But the number of days they last is too small.
So far, so good with Asics Hyperspeed 6 as a replacement. They've improved since whatever version I last tried a few years ago.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
