This is my last workout which was a good one for me. 25x400m with 30s rc averaged 74.4s. Ranged between 73high-75low, except for the last one. This workout was done solo, but I had a friend there watching.
I wanted the pace and recovery as honest as possible, my friend timed my recovery. Id usually take off around 29seconds to make sure Id get 30s or less recovery. Im glad he was there he could keep track of the reps so I didn't have to count them. Also, the rest was walking, I did not jog.
I decided to run the last 400m hard but controlled and did 69.49. If it was all out, I think I would of run 65-66, but not much faster than that.
If it wasn't for the last one and I would of stayed around 74s, I feel like I could of kept going to 30... and pushing my end limits maybe 35... but I didn't do that, it just felt like I had that much left..
33:02 and 15:46 are my best times, should I take off at my PR pace and try to run slightly under the pace as I go along?
I dont have a lot of races that will be fast for time, but id like to try and get it right for the ones that are fast.
