Why do so many rich people use sleazy tactics to grow their wealth?
Why do so many rich people use sleazy tactics to grow their wealth?
Gonna need to elaborate a little on that one. Why do lazy people who are content living off the Government cheese expect hard workers to pay their way?

How about this question ....
Why do some talented distance runners make the choice to take EPO?
Rich people are competitive in their own way, and their prize is money. Those who lack ethics cheat to make more. Not all people of wealth are unethical. In fact, many are philanthropic.

Have any statistics on that? What percentage is it? How do you define and illuminate "sleazy tactics"? What is your definition of rich?
- Happily looking forward to some content
Many philanthropists lack ethics.
You should read Thomas Piketty's "Capital in the 21st Century", he explain quite clearly why wealth is becoming more and more concentrated
You're looking at it backwards. It's not like rich people somehow become sleazy. Sleazy people become rich.
Think of it like this. There are two types of people seeking wealth: Honest and sleazy. Sleazy works better than being honest. Therefore, a higher proportion of sleazy make it rich than the proportion of honest.
Sleazy people span across all income levels. The rich ones just get more attention because they have all that money, and people love burn them at the stake and declare the pursuit of wealth as evil.
I don't know what the OP was thinking but here are some examples:
Large companies will use their power to lobby congress to amend the tax code in their favor to reduce their taxes.
Example - GE
Companies will use inversion to set up offshore accounts to countries with lower tax rates while using the United States resources for their sales.
Then have your Bernie Madoff's who take people's money and give false reports of their earnings while keeping the cash for himself.
I'd call these sleazy tactics.
Would having multiple children to recieve more government aid also be considered sleazy? Collecting food stamps while you sit at home playing x-box? Sleazy? Remember the "poor" in our country still live better than the median household in many others. Everyone has the neighbor who's on welfare with the 50" flat screen.

This is your fundamental error. Sure, sometimes a sleazy fellow will succeed in making a lot of money. As a general rule, however, being honest and trustworthy help one succeed in business.
Why shouldn't they use sleazy tactics? Jesus already said that all rich people are going to burn in Hell forever.
The first two examples you gave are not people but entities. The third example you gave is a person but is hardly a common representative of the typical rich person the OP was alluding to. So what would be a more typical and human example of the OP's point?

Your post is immeasurably lame.

BECAUSE THATS WHAT JEWS DO.
Yes, but in fairness I think both sides are unfair to the other and like most things the truth usually lies in the middle.1. The majority of rich people do not use sleazy tactics. Berne Madoff and a few other examples aren't enough to consituture a majority and are the exception.2. Yes, some poor people on gov't assistance are purposely having extra kids and doing thing to maximize their gov't-funded checks but most are actually trying to find jobs if not already working hard at low wage jobs while others have been hit with disabilities or have relatives they need to support in such a situation.

Even lamer.
Congratulations, i guess.
I am Nouveau Riche and I grew all of my money by being smart and working hard, not by being sleazy. Do you think that the stock market is some great mystery? One of the best ways I used to grow my wealth was by recognizing that the current administration's love for renewable energy and coal would create a dramatic increase in the demand for natural gas as a fuel in power generation. The current liberal administration has been the most pro-fracking administration ever as a result of it's "environmentalist" policies.
It's all about money, ain't a damn thing funny.

There is an honest way to get rich?
