Agree on the $ thing. Probably not on the friends (or at least not genuine ones) the guy is truly an jagoff.

Nice try, Lance. You should spend more time with your kids and less time on these message boards.
An amazing athlete, but a man without a soul. How do you suppose a guy with no honor is looked upon by his own children? How do you suppose his children are looked upon by the other kids in school? There is a considerable cost to living one's life without integrity. You can't buy it back with all the money in the world.

+1
I saw his interview in SI with Dan Patrick's "Just my type"
He answered questions honestly, and to be...well, hones, he still seems like a real jerk!
My buddy is a 54 year old man, who ran the Boston Marathon at age 45 in 2:40 the same year Lance, , the super man ran the NYC marathon in 2:44, and Lance was 34!!!
Keep the money. And, it is a total lie about more friends
I mean, FB friends?
Really?
How many do you really know?

You are a runner.
You have no friends.
You have no money.

I still have just as many TDF wins as Lance.
And I doubt he has many friends at all.

Tell me: if Lance Armstrong not did win the tour, who did?
Armstrong crossed the line finish x7 first. That is un disputable. Who come in secundo and third? Does anyone remember? No.
Much has been written about the substances but the fact is it was all in his head. He has winner mentality, European cyclist have quitter/loser mentality. Michele Ferrari, he advised, training speciment, speciale. Best advisors there is. That, and above mentioned the mentality, is what make differencia.
EPO, didn't change it. Mentality did. Difficult to believe for others, but I know and Armstrong know too and so do everyone in TDF circuite.

I'm sure you can go to the TDF site and see who, if anyone, was named winner for those years.
You have to come across the finish line first WITHIN THE RULES. Do you still think the Rosie Ruiz is the 1980 Boston Women's Champion?
Lance Armstrong = Rosie Ruiz = Cheater

Nice attempt at a comparison, but try leaving critical thinking to the adults.

Lance was a cheater. He just doped better than the other cyclists, he was not necessarily the best at the biking part but we'll never know for sure.

Nope.
All Le Tour Riders = Cheaters.
in hindsight, a doped, lying lance, who won 7x and has been sued to hell and back, will still have been more successful than a non-doped, hillbilly texan lance
He also raised more money to fight cancer than all of us.

Livestrong is a charity to raise money for the awareness of cancer, it doesn't raise money to fight cancer.
I don't doubt that he does. I'm a better human, though.
