How many times have you all won a race?? Tell the storys below!

Ive won about 16-20 races that i was not guaranteed to win.
70+ and counting...
I started a thread about this long ago and it got front-paged to my humiliation.
The reason I was aghast was I forgot about all the single-A high school heroes who rack up more than 100 wins with times like 2:15, 5:10 and 11:02. They all showed up to boast and made everyone else look bad. And it was all my fault.
ah. Those were the days.
Also, I hate those types.
I won a ton of races in highschool, a couple road races, and I even managed 1 single win in college. Yeah college is where winning became so type of mythical being that I was no longer in unison with haha. But man oh man, was that sweet.
dozens over a 35 year span, but nothing really blazing
One indoor 2 mile in college (our top runner was high and ran in training flats so I outkicked him)
One road race in college but I got DQd because I was a bandit--but I smoked those guys! So a win's a win.
Dozens of road races as a open runner, 5Ks and 10Ks at best 15s - and around 32-32:30. Later some small races in the 16s-34s.
Some masters track, trail, and road runs.
3 and counting, currently on a 2 race winning streak.
I won a 5k in 2013. Defended my title at that 5k a few weeks ago. Then I won my hometown half marathon Saturday.
2 baby!!!!
1 road mile, win by 6 seconds against 37 competitors. Second place was a 51 year old woman.
1 low key 3200m at a track meet. I finished 4 or 5 in the mile a little earlier, and then ran a progression 3200m tempo. Won by 8 seconds, but I negative spilt by 70s, and rattled off about a 68 second last lap, passing some in the race more than once. Probably my best 400 ever. I got a slice of watermelon as a prize. Of wait, everybody got watermelon.
I've only been running 2 years and I'm a master's runner. Felt good to beat some early 20s guys in both. You can only race the competition that shows up ;)

Storys??
Sorry, story's.
I won a lot of races in high school. I won a handful of road races. I won a few races in college but I also fell flat on my face and struggled to 2:06 once. Almost doubled that time the following race and won.

I think you mean storys'
once. came back to hometown in the middle of college for a roadrace in the park where we ran XC every day (i was mid pack JV in high school). was wearing a cotton tshirt. felt awesome, like i had overcome the suck from high school. some of just need a good few years of consistency to finally blossom.
In answer to your first question. I don't know but not enough!
My favourite win hastily to be my first marathon win. I separated from the lead group at about 19.5 miles and opened up a good gap. I was going through a rough patch at 23ish miles and I could hear cheering very close behind me when a cyclist came across the road and hit me. I hit the ground and my head started pounding with adrenaline. I won by 2 minutes. That adrenaline rush got me to the line. For me anyway, nothing beats the feeling of winning a big road race.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
