With LaCrosse slipping out of the top 10 in the preseason ranking, the title of WIAC champions may be up for grabs. Thoughts?

UW River Falls will take 11th
Keep it classy
River Falls will take 12th
Oshkosh is currently ranked 1st out of the wiac and top 5 in the nation. Idk if they will still be as strong without Ramos though, even if he wasnt their top runner in cc. Eau-Claire picked up the strongest freshmen recruit i think with Darin Lau. UW-Whitewater picked up Studinski i hear, but he seemed to slip last year in xc and track so its hard to say how he will run this year. I dont see Whitewater placing higher than 7th or 6th tho even if A-stud runs well. My pick is for Eau-Claire over Oshkosh and Plattville over Lacrosse and Stout in that mix too although they will be hurting without Jessop Keene. I predict UWSP to face off with RF (although with UofM Star Chris Rombough and being such a young team, RF is kind of a wild card too) for 6th and Superior to duke with Whitewater for 8th.

Rf at regions placed ahead of Whitewater who has lost runners and RF returns their top 4. Plus Superior has lost their top runner. Oh and #Rombough
RF was also missing their #3 runner at regionals who was consistently running with the #2, probably could have placed even higher. What a shame that a school within the WIAC has to stoop to such a low immature level. Running is suppose to be a special sport. Go back to middle school.
Where are the rankings up? USTFCCA aren't out for another 9 days or so.
but even with rombough i dont see rf placing higher than 8th. He was a good runner, but we still have to see if it translates to good coach. It worked with Salazar, but don't count your eggs yet. Eau Claire is were its at #Lau

I bet the school is grate two!
Womens side, I think Point is a lock. RF is losing 3/5, UWL is always solid though.
1 UWSP
2 UWL
3 Eau Claire
4 Oshkosh
5 River Falls
6 Whitewater
7 Plateville
8 Stout
9 Superior
Mens side, I think Eau Claire is going to win with Oshkosh and La Crosse right on their tail. Not sure what is going on with River Falls and these forums, they seem to have a solid 1 with the 2, 3 and 4 packed close. Stout could be a dark horse as well.
1 Eau Claire
2 Oshkosh
3 La Crosse
4 Stout
5 Plateville
6 Point
7 River Falls
8 Whitewater
9 Superior

Dude is dumb as a box of rocks
Nah bro, UWL will take 8th. Then they'll get drunk and haze their freshman

Why is this even a thread? MIAC is the new dominant conference. St Olaf, St Thomas, shoot, they even have Saint Mary's! Augsburg has Mohamed Mohamed aka MoMo from Eden Prarie Minnesota

Within the next couple of years the UMAC will be far more competitive than the WIAC. so much talent in that conference

When the winning time in wiac is 26:30 then we can talk about how competitive the umac is
UW-EC by a mile. Maybe not literally but they will kick some WIAC Poontang
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
