If you're an athlete there's really no need to skip breakfast with this coffee. In my opinion, you can do that if you're trying to lose weight. But that should really be the only exception. Sometimes when I have a few hour ride and I plan on eating a lot on the bike, I'll just drink the coffee then go.
The coffee is delicious, and great with the grass fed butter and MCT oil. I have had no issues other than I now like it more than Starbucks. (Usually a big fan of Pikes Place, Gold Coast, Italian Roast etc.).
It will take a while to get used to the butter over time, and you will find yourself adding a bit more. Just make sure it is unsalted.
I make mine with a moka pot, then add the butter and oil- blend it up in a nutri bullet. It tastes amazing and I don't really need more than one cup a day. I've found that I don't get a really quick coffee buzz and it leaves you not feeling awful an hour after drinking it.
It is super expensive, and I wouldn't say the coffee itself tastes any better than what I've had in the past. But with the butter, and the apparent lack of myotoxins- I like it a lot.
