It's been 20 years since the NFL has had a team in the entertainment and media center of the world. Magic Johnson says the NFL is poised to finally get it's act together and re-establish a prescence in Los Angeles.

How is it that so many of today's youth just can't seem to get the subject line right?
It really happens quite often. Is it because; they've been coddled their whole life or, all the prescription drugs/over-the-top vaccination schedule they were subjected to, or media induced short attention spans? Whatever it is, someone - other than me - needs to do an intervention.
How is it that so many grammar-perfectionist are incapable of figuring out a topic with misspellings and grammar gaffs for themselves?
Grammar-perfectionist could not solve a simple problem to save their lives. Grammar-perfectionist entire lives are based on pointing out errors on the interwebs. What type of life accomplishment is that?
Oh, and Mr. Johnson happens to be part owner of the best property on Los Angeles to build a football stadium. Downtown LA, next to Staples Center, is a traffic disaster. Chavez Ravine is next to Downtown LA, has an epic hilltop view of the city, and has opened land with massive parking capacity.
I glanced at the thread title and thought it read the NFL financially needs a team in LA.
I was like yeah the NFL is really hurting for money and needs the income a team in LA would generate. So naturally I thought the OP was an idiot for thinking that.
Now I realize the OP isn't someone with a stupid opinion. The OP is just a straight up idiot.
LA is purely a college football town. Give expansion to a worthy smallish place. Look at how OKC supports basketball. I hope the Raiders move to San Antonio. I hope my Bills stay in Bflo.
The Charter of the Los Angeles City has a permanent ban on using taxpayer funds to finance private companies, private stadiums and facilities.
Thus, Los Angeles is the only city in the world where every professional sports team is 100% privately owned.
The City of San Francisco does not have a ban on public funds but taxpapers voted down funding for the Giants MLB franchise thus their ballpark is 100% privately owned.
We'll see if the NFL and Magic Johnson can put something together with 100% private equity for Los Angeles.
I hope Farmers Field will be purpose-built for Track and Field, and Soccer, but doubt it.
Nobody else but Magic can do it.
Who cares about the NFL?
Since Donald Sterling is about to make billions maybe he will be the one to bring football back to LA.
Yes, Donald Sterling can build a stadium on Frank McCourt's parking lots, and Dodger property owned by Magic.

Why should anyone have to 'figure out' what someone else is trying to say?
I'm not a grammar-perfectionist (?) but if you can't communicate any better than this guy.....
I barely graduated from high school in '63, but even I can express myself better.
China owns Nike, so why can't China own an NFL team of L.A.?
How about a Russian Billionaire rescue the NFL and provide welfare money to re-open the L.A. market to the NFL.
It's been 20 years damn it. Why haven't those NFL billionaire rats finance an wholy-owned NFL franchise, stadium, parking, and entertainment complex in L.A. It's not like the current owners honorably earned the money that they have. The farmers and truck drivers back in their piss-hole towns gave them public welfare dollars to pay the players and build the stadiums.
Unlike T&F, football is a TV sport. LA has 30 NFL teams. Now shut up you fools.
NFL would be better off with a franchise in London .... Or Israel since it's in Europe
The NFL owners don't own a MFin thing. It's the taxpayers who give them the free stadium and tax breaks. L.A. doesn't need that. In L.A., NFL must pay their own bills the same as the rest of the 100,000 TV, pro sports, film, recording, media and entertainment companies. Otherwise L.A. doesn't want the NFL. Comprende NFL? Pay your own F U C K I N way like we all have managed to do.
