She was late for her post race workout and didn't want to keep Al waiting any longer.

I watched on watchathletics but they cut away so many times for field events and so lost track of her after about 1600. She was at the end of the train, probably around 4:48 to 4:50 at 1600, maybe even a little under. That speed is just over her head at this point. The first rabbit was at 4:41 and then they picked it up to 69s, which really strung things out. Even Huddle got dropped somewhere in the 3 to 3.5K range.
sooo she was just sucking and couldn't deal with it like a big girl. solid.
So will she be racing in Zurich? Will the insanity ever stop?
thank you for being you Jordan wrote:

Isn't she saving it for Zurich? or was that a different runner?
Just like indoor USATFs.....she packed it in.
She is used to a big lead going into the last lap or she folds. I am very familiar w/ this habit because I (at a much more modest level) did the same thing.
She is a great runner, but she is not as competitive - HAS TO WIN - as most other elite runners. Certainly not like Al Sal.

That's what I was thinking, She was saving it for Zurich!
