Any word on when she will be returning to competitive running. I know she had been out this past year with foot issues, but I haven't seen anything from her while at Providence?

I don't think she'll be back during her college years. This pattern is so well developed and coaches need to educate parents as soon as the issue comes up.
I hate to think of the reality that somewhere this summer a HS girl is getting frightenenly thin in order to have a breakout season this fall. It happens every year and each time her friends and family spend the year in denial, celebrating her victories while those on the sidelines wait for the clock to strike midnight.
It always does.
