Some of the "top incoming" frosh were pretty good but on the track not over the country. Cranny is the exception.
Several didn't win their state. Not that there's anything wrong with that but college is a different ballgame in terms of training,intensity,competition.
One hasn't even competed in the 2013/2014 school year. Get the trainer warmed up.

Maddy Berkson will be great. She comes from a program that is getting better in track (historically not good) and terrible in XC. She ran very fast on the track in high school off (4:50i off of 35mpw) and while her XC times didn't match up to her track teams, she didn't really have a team to run with and only ran one season. I'm looking forward to seeing what she can do with a great team around her and some college-level training.
No mention of the 04:13 International though.
It looks like the 4:13 is legit, but the commitment has not yet been made public.
