Kipchoge and Sihine are/were both legit runners who were overshadowed by the GOAT.
@OP, the longer the runners stick together the more I give the edge to KB, then Kipchoge. If Kipsang takes a risk and can drive hard from a long way out it becomes his race. Especially if he has help.
Kipsang
Actual WR holder vs. Theoretical WR holder based on a wacked-out theory that a couple bumps in Paris added 90 seconds vs. guy Kipsang beat
Argument could be made that the real answer should be:
Dennis Kimetto.
We will see after Monday I guess.
Wilson Kipsang seems to be capable of sub 2:03 - at the moment he seems to be Nr. 1.
any guy who is close to 2"03-flat is in worst
26'30 shape
( how fast do you have to run a M before 26'30 is impossible NOT to have ?!?! )
( mo 3'28 off 5k/10k training example at lower distances is slight example :
1500m is lot less than 1/4 of a 10k than 10k is of M... )
wilson/stan/dennis are probably capable currently of helluva lot under 26'30
i'd like to hear from canova about geoffrey :
probably running a dumb 1/2M in actual freezing weather ( 33F ) last month was stoopid...
They can hardly break 27. Kipsang's gait is incompatible
with a 26:30 10000m due to lack of forefoot running.
His loss of vo2 speed as he moves from 10K to 42195 is unprecedented. I agree he can go 2:02 high.
The answer is Kipsang ...who has already beaten Kipchoge.
mo's foreward tilt is too unbalanced to break 3'33
perhaps foot analysis is...
utter drivel

Brilliant. So Kipsang runs faster than both of them during the same month but you rank him last.

I hope this is sarcasm. Plenty of people don't run on their forefoot.
Kipsang could not run under 12:50 probably ever.
Kipchoge and Bekele were both still running 12:55 two years ago, even though they were both destroyed in a race where 11 mofos went sub-13.
after these marathons are done, then it's time to break that sub-13-mofo's-in-one-race record. 13 under 13 would be a good benchmark.

Spoken like a true heel striker
There's no way the answer is not Kipsang
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
