Mostly a rough week for me. My body was run down from some lingering family illness that we’ve been sharing for a couple weeks. I also had a tough time sleeping this week for some reason, so I was going into every run a bit more tired than usual. Add to the mix a nice temperature spike this week (highs in the mid-70s) to which I am not yet acclimated and you have a perfect storm for feeling lousy.
Still, I worked my way through things and got in some decent quality. And today’s trail run was the best I felt all week, so at least I ended on a good note. For my third week back, I will take it. :)
