Is there really a kid on Arcadias track team named "Happy Happy?"

Gig Harbors 4th and 5th guys have really stepped up as the leadership preached that they could win NXN. Wolfgang Beck (their #1) expects their 4th and 5th runners, (both capable) to go under 16 minutes. As a friend of the team I really admire the dedication that they have, but it frustrates me, after losing to them plenty of times, how the corresponding members of my own team (4,5, ect) are not stepping up. Sorry for venting on the internet.

Their top 4 ran very well at Sundodger yesterday. All at 15:08 and 15:09, which leads you to believe some could have gone faster. But that gap at 5 will need to close significantly to challenge at NXN.

Their usual #5 didn't run yesterday. He is.a 16:00 5k guy so he will be solid. Actually exceptional for a #5.

Hope you're right. At NXN NW if teams like Kamiakin, North Central and Nathan Hale can put 6-7 in front of him and he places somewhere in between 60-70 (Around 40-55points) It'll be hard for Gig to even make it to NXN.

They'll be racing all those teams this Saturday at Bob Firman, which is on the NXN regionals course. So I guess we'll see then

Yes. It's pretty much all flat.

As for Gig, they were missing multiple varsity runners. I'm sure their #5 will look stronger after Bob Firman and/or Nike Pre-Nationals.

The California economy sucks. It wouldn't surprise anyone who lives here that there are better jobs in tacoma/gig harbor than in southern cal.
