From time to time we get the question "what's the best non-training book about running?"
The new Kindle book The Summit Seeker must be a strong candidate. The author is an ultra runner, and she writes beautifully about running, and its role in getting her through the challenges of life.
This book has feeling. It's just incomparably better than the typical "this happened, then this happened, then I took a dump in a compression sock, then this happened" race report or running memoir. Seriously.
Check it out.
(I have not met the author and have no financial connection to her. But this is a book worth reading.)
