Dooooo diiiii doooooo...So, does anybody have a good joke while we wait?
Stanford women will be REALLY good if they get a solid 5th runner.
Also, the depth at this meet is incredible. Stanfords 2-3-4 runners
14. Cayla Hatton 20:04
18. Jessica Tonn 20:05
25. Aisling Cuffe 20:08
Wow! 11 places in four seconds. That's crazy.
Nice performance by the freshman Cayla Hatton, a bit overshadowed (with good reason) by Laura Hollander.
Since when do they verify women's xc results? I thought they always had someone "eyeballin' it" as they came across and focused all of the technological resources on the men's race.

someone says they are using video feed now to verify the positions as the bibs "failed"
Two pieces of string walk into a bar and the bartender looks at them suspiciously. He says "Sorry, boys, we don't serve your kind here." So the pieces of string walk out again.
They're sitting in the gutter outside and feeling really thirsty when one piece of string says "Hey! I've got an idea to get me into the bar."
So he starts twisting and turning, wriggling this way and that, pulling out a few threads here and there. His mate's looking at him and thinks he's gone completely nuts.
Then the piece of string walks back into the bar. The bartender looks at him a little suspiciously again and says "Here, you're not a bit of string, are you?"
The piece of string replies "No, I'm a frayed knot."

Four runners betweeen 20.04 and 20.05? With an iffy chip system? Oh Hell YEAH! I got a lot of faith in these results! And no times for the # 7 runners you can see in the pic on the FLOTRACK twitter feed? OH HELL YEAH!
They may as well just re-run the race.....that would have taken much less time. Head them back to the starting line and do it over again the correct way!
And we wonder why this sport is unpopular.

A chick walked into a bar and asked the bartender for a double entendre.
So he gave it to her.

I heard he just dipped under 23 minutes - like 22:57
What kind of chip system? What is their backup? How many backups were used?
Right, here's one:
Why is it that a woman has no brains?
She doesn't have a penis to keep them in.
Before you get offended, think about it for a second.
Anyone who's coached high school/college males knows what this is about.
