I'm at the press conference and was told by someone associated with the meet that Makhloufi is running tomorrow in the 800. He will not make it to the press conference but is running. Even the article referenced here talks about him "continuing his season" in Stockholm http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=4758194 so perhaps it's just saying he's not running the 1500. |

He's just signed a big 4 year sponsorship deal with an Algerian telecom provider. I wonder if the contract has a get out clause if he proves to be a fraud... |

i'll believe it when i see him on the starting line. no offense wejo but just because some random official says he's running doesn't mean he'll be there. |

He's now listed on the Diamond League website as an entrant in the 800 |

I'm so relieved that he's overcome the serious medical problem that caused him to drop out of the 800 in the Olympics. I was really worried about his health. |
| What's the story? |

Why wouldn't you believe it? What is the big deal? A lot of Olympians are continuing their seasons in Europe, why would he be any different? |

Why he was a "not show" at press conference? Maybe because he knew about the doping related questions? |

Wait, I thought he was injured? |

I hope he runs a 1:35 800m tomorrow, just to carry the absurdity to the extreme. It might be helpful too if someone in the field can spike him hard through a vein. If people could watch his tar-blood ooze out it could lead to further investigation. |
