I got stung by a bee doing a track workout Tuesday morning. It didnt bother me much the first night besides some itching. I got up and ran a 9 miler the next day and a few hours later my ankle started to get noticeably swollen. Now my whole foot is all puffed up and stiff and itchy 2 days later. Ive been training all summer for a half marathon in a few weeks so i hate taking time off but it would seem wise to do so. Im going to go see a doctor tommorrow to see what options i have. Anyone else had a similar experience or allergies to bee stings. Id like to get back to my 10-12 mile days as soon as possible.
