The OP could have supplied a few more details. He's talking about an article in which the writer claims that having Rudisha on the 4x400 relay guarantees a podium finish. Which is a bit of a stretch for all kinds of reasons.

I think Rudisha can run his leg in a 44. I am not sure who else Kenya has in the 400 but Rudisha is probably their top guy. Hopefully Bolt and Rudisha will meet in the 4x400 as they are the two most dominating athletes of their time. I think Bolt would have the upper hand but it is hard to ever count David out.

6th last year without him. They were 1.05 seconds back of Jamaica which was 3rd. I wouldn't call them a lock, but they are definitely a "threat" to medal.
