Won the 8-16-32 by 3-10-21 seconds.
As a guy who never even qualified for states in PA, it's kind of funny to think that I could have finished second in the 3200m in this kid's state.
Kind of funny and yet kind of sad that we are not congratulating this kid for his efforts, yet simply comparing our missed chances and sob stories from days and years past.
Who cares if the times were slower than your state. The fact is he won four state titles in four very different events. The times are not out of this world for the 1600 and 3200 correct, but focusing on the fact that he still possesses phenominal range and ability for an 18 year old is evident more than anything. Few high schoolers in HISTORY have run a quadruple over 2 or 3 days I imagine, that included a 47.xx and sub 9:30 3200. Simply Incredible. Alan Webb may also have been one of the very few to have done this.
My conclusion from reading letsrun over the years is that 90 percent or more of Americans, and especially the youth, are sad, immature, whiney, spoiled bitches.
