Matteebo to the lead. Employee #1 liked him when he met him in Kenya. A 13:03 guy. We did pick him as a "long shot" who might win after Employee #1 complained. http://www.letsrun.com/2012/boston-lrc-0413.php He has a 2:05:31 pb. 22 year old who used to run 13:03 but now runs the marathon. Rupp, Are you reading? |

Why are we encouraging Rupp to move to the marathon? He is good on the track and is getting better lets not push him up to the marathon yet where he runs two times a year. |

matebo at 35k on 2:11 pace - BAA says his last 5k was only 15:42 - sounds like he did not speed up - everyone else died |

Only those of us who are fans of the sport. There might also be some connection between giving a damn about half the marathoners out there and being able to type a dozen words without making three errors. |

Butter needs only top 8 with only 3 per country counting, so top 8 is not a problem. He does need a sub 2.12 too to qaulify for London |

In case you're not watching Levy Matebo 10 seconds up on Matthew Kisorio. They just hit 35k (21.5 miles) in 1:48:47 and 1:48:57. This one isn't over. On the women's side, Sharon Cherop is trying to break away from Jemima Sumgong on women's side but they are right together. |
