I'm a freshman and on Tuesday I doubled in 8/16, running 4:39.20 and 2:05.96. Thursday I doubled again and ran 4:39.50 and 2:05.70 (in both meets there was 10-15mph wind and my splits were horrendous-something I need to work on)
I really want to break 4:30 this season.
What are some workouts I can do to lower my times?
Do you have any tips for pacing my mile? What do you think optimal splits would be?
