At least Abda went for it, dude. Cas just started in the back and finished further in the back... A lot further

I agree, cas seems to have a lot of trouble with 800's in indoors for 3 years in a row. However every year he always does great in the 400 from indoor through out. Maybe it's a training thing
Why do you have to be so negative? He is a very good athlete and did not run well today. His PR is 1:45 and has a silver medal from the World Junior Championship. How many of the naysayers have similar credentials? Hell, original poster, you don't even have the guts to write your own name along with your criticism. You have no idea the pressure to succeed these athletes experience and consequently you should keep your negative opinions to yourself. Run well tomorrow Cas.
workout hero
No worries, he'll run 45 high 46 low tomorrow. This is what he always does at indoor nationals
Meh dont forget the minnosta boys. Both of them dropping 1:46's but neither making the finals.
Is mason mchenry the man to beat now? didnt watch the race but off the lap splits he seems to be undercontrol.
He could be an NCAA champ. PAC 12 watch out.
My guess is that Cas was overtrained. He likely spent time in pistol wavin new haven over winter break. We know that In pistol wavin New Haven (where Cas is from) the police will often give foot chase to those who may be involved in criminal activity (probable cause). My guess is that Cas Had little choice but to spend a lot of time sprinting around street sidewalks, not because he did anything but his homies did, and thus he did not come into late winter competitions with fresh legs post winter break.
Cas races like an idiot. He has no patience. He should be learning from the freshman Creese, but he isn't. Too bad.
It's great to see such a good athlete from pistol wavin new haven become a dominant guy in NCAA d1. I can't remember anyone from that area tearing it up in middle distance in a long time.
Jock must be smiling wide right about now. Almost everyone who challenged him last year is no where to be seen. Blanket statement obviously but id say he is most definitly the man to beat.

Don't count out Andrews. And as for Cas, he's been having an absolutely horrible indoor season. Yes he ran 1:47 but he did it going out in 51 and crawling home. And any race he wasn't time trialing showed horrible tactics. His Coach needs to figure this out because this is not the kind of year you want to look like sh!t
Did he run the DMR? Anyone see how he did if he was in it?

Bet you $100 Andrews does not beat Jock at NCAA's this year
Cas and Cory Mcgee both choked. The stress of the relationship must have gotten to them. Long distance relationships never work.
Jock knows exactly where Ryan Martin is.
