who's in the know?
hi
last year Adam with his coach (Stanisław Jaszczak) planned 3 peaks: one for indoors european ch., one for u-23 european ch. and one for Daegu. He won first and second. In Daegu he was 6th.
12 days after world ch. final he run his PR in Reti.
In this time he:
jog twice (beeing still in Daegu)
(5 days before Reti) - short 20 m runs for stenght's excitation
(4 day before) 6 km 3'40- 3'50/km
(3 days) 2x(5x100 m) 12 s each, breaks 90 s, break between sets 5 minutes
rest
rest
1:43:30 in Reti
his coach said normaly in training he would do 2x(6x100 m) in 11-11,5s, breaks 100 s, 6 minutes beetwen sets.
So he is very speed oriented? I'm interested in his weekly volume and what specific types of lifting and plyometrics he does.
bump
I have watched videos and have seen a number of photos with Adam doing speed bounding, short goose step runs, and box jumping. He spends time in the weight room but I haven't seen any specifics. I would love to find a weekly schedule of his training. He seems to train more like a 400m runner.
I've looked and there is nothing out there re his training...anyone?

Apart from being speed orientated he does a ton of drills & plyos. That's why his form is solid.. Interested to hear about his weakly mileage. Most likely low with quality workouts. His 200m in an 800m is always insane!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
