all my running life (14 years now) i've been freakishly immune to stress fractures, so i really have no idea of the exact symptoms. what does this sound like to you injury-ridden pavement pounders?
1. strong pain, like a bruise almost, at the bottom of my big toe and on that top corner of my foot right below the big toe.
2. i feel it somewhat when i run, very inconsistent severity over the past 10-12 days.
3. i feel it lying it bed at night on and off as well. definitely some non-weight bearing pain.
4. i felt it more after running a workout in spikes.
i haven't bruised the toe or foot. in my life, little knicks happen all the time - but this feels like something more. does it seem like a stress fracture? the ironic part is, i've drastically dropped my training mileage the last few months to prevent overtraining - but i suppose it could be from the increased intensity (doing 3 workouts a week).
let me know your thoughts. trolls appreciated.
