Where is Rock Light headed?

Heard Dion Miller received 20K pay raise due to the stellar
2012 season at TTU.

Someone with close ties to the WCU and ETSU programs tweeted the following things this afternoon and has since removed them

"The next coach at ETSU is......." and something along the lines of "coaching changes #mindblown"

I don't see why Williamson would leave WCU, but it almost seems like he is.
noid?!

Williamson to ETSU, seems very likely now.
What approach does he take to XC? Danny's not big on putting the scholarship dollars in the distance like Walker was...could be a big change for everyone involved.

Congrats to Danny! I think everyone's sad to see him leave Western, but what an opportunity for a really great coach. It's hard to imagine Western ever being better than what they are now. Danny worked his a$$ off to develop that program. They've had success at EVERY level (former athlete Manteo Mitchell is a 2012 Olympian).

He'll be missed in Cullowhee, best of luck in Johnson City!

Jesse Norman at UNCA is a head guy who is an alum. Good coach who has even less than WCU. Williamson has developed a large coaching tree over the years, lots of WCU alum coaching in college

Dave Milner is a class guy who developed several top D1-bound high school runners, like Sean Keveran, before assisting at Belmont. He puts on a high-level open and pro meet, the Music City Distance Carnival where, this year, Whitehaed broke the outdoor master's 4 min mile.

.... So this makes him qualified to be a Head Coach of a D-1 program?!
I am sure the AD is really impressed with his work with accolades as an assistant.

ETSU in its current state would benefit from anyone knowledgeable coaching them. The old school approach worked when they had the Irish pipeline but they don't have that luxury anymore.

Stanford hires new Athletic Director Bernard Muir who cut track and XC at Delaware. Perhaps they won't need to hire coaches after all.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know if he's leaving or not, but his resume looks like...

Western 03-04
Adams 04-05
Portland 05-08
Concordia 08-09
Bethune Cookman 09-10
Chris Newport 11-12

If 6 schools in less than a decade isn't a red flag, I don't know what is.
