Who is McKendree and Eastern NM talking with?
Who is McKendree and Eastern NM talking with?
I heard that McKendree had over 200 applicants for their position, and were only looking for individuals with Head Coaching experience. Will be interesting to see whose name comes up.
Any word on the Hawai'i position? Who are they leaning towards? I was surprised that Sua left after only one season. Might be an indication of the type of work environment.
Not sure if this has been posted, but former women's coach at Worcester State in Mass has accepted the job at Holy Cross, Mat LeMaire. He is a good dude and a heck of a recruiter, expect big things in years to come!
And why would McKendree not be looking for someone with Head Coaching experience?
Notre Dame College interviews are over, offer out already to an applicant, expect press release before the end of the semester.
I know for sure McKendree is not looking at just head coaches, because i know an assistant coach who got interviewed this week

Maybe someone at Big East can find some insight into this Pitt thing. I'm curious to see what happened with Bell and who they will hire. They have a lot of potential on the girls side so maybe they will be able to draw someone in. It's a shame Cady left when he did, would probably of been able to step right into that and would have done a good job. Perhaps he still can. Not sure what traveling for the year entails but I talked to him at a meet last year and he was desperate for a job.

Bell left last weekend. They were already interviewing for an assistant, so can start with those applicants for replacement. "Younger white guy", aka Matt Cady, was a volunteer last year and is currently traveling, not due back this year. Team travels to Big East this week as planned, with Webb. No idea why Bell left -- doesn't appear to have been planned.
did the head coach at Pitt really just hire his son for a full-time position? Or is it a grad asst. position. Certainly not qualified for a full-time position.
Anyone heard anything on the Assistant Women's CC job at Colgate?
That just happened. Here ya go son, your very own big boy job. That was easy enough.

He was on staff prior to this current Bell situation, but my guess is he wasn't full-time. And based on that release, he is now full-time. Thanks Dad.

How does a coach from Purdue and the Big Ten end up at a place like Cal Tech?

Colgate hired someone their web page is just behind. It was a non-distance position, with a requirement to assist in XC.
Thanks for the info!
What else is open?
Cal State - LA - head
Mckendree - head

Has Bowling Green state or Drake University made a hire yet?
Hartford?
Richmond?
College of Charleston?
Eastern New Mexico head job is open still. Interviewing now. Just how bad would it be to live in portales nm? They will be a power if they can get athletes to live in that area.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
