I have decided to stream the men's race through this site:

Any way to track the elite women runners?

"Live coverage brought to you by ASICS"
I'm guessing that means we aren't going to be getting a lot of coverage of Flanagan (Nike), Defar (Mizuno), Derarta Tulu (Mizuno), Kim Smith (Reebok)... not sure if there are any Asics runners at top end of the Women's elite field, but it looks like the focus might be on Ryan Hall in the men's race.
Hope there is live timing somewhere, but live coverage of elite split times doesn't sound like something that the Rock n Roll group really care about.
Does anyone know if there are official times recorded for the intermediate marks at 10k, 15k, 20k at this event? Kim Smith could potentially run a national record and an area record at 15k, 20k and HM, but it only counts if there's official timing.
thank you Adam
Does anyone know at what time the GNR starts and where to stream it (outside the UK)?
I wonder if one of the local Philly TV stations will cover it?
There is a link to results on the main web page, so we might see some live timing for splits from a link from here:
http://philadelphia.competitor.com/
There might be a 2010 link here also:
http://results.active.com/pages/page.jsp?eventLinkageID=456
The 2009 results shows splits for 5k, 10k and 10 mile.
BUMP!
I was debating whether or not it was a good idea to get up to watch this race but i'm glad i did. THe race has started and it's loaded.
4:30 first mile, 9:06 2 mile.
The problem with the fast start for Ryan Hall fans is that Hall is running his own race and no where to be seen on the camera.
For the record, can I state that Gebremariam and Defar will win?
They just said the 3 mile was 13:30 and 5k was 14:00.
My watch had the 3 mile being way, way slower so maybe the stream is off? Anyone else timing it themselves?
I guess Hall's three weeks of speedwork and zero track races were not quite enough. Astonishing..
He split 14:05 in his first half running solo.
Yeah, rojo, the stream keeps lagging. That caused the ~30 second discrepancy at 5k.
Whats the top 5 men and women. Im struggling to make it out?
I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing video lag. I know my internet connection is slow & thought it was just me!
But, I'm really excited to watch the women's race (replay) at 10:15AM!
More updates? All I have is my iPhone and it doesn't pick up the feed. Thanks.
The lag makes it pretty much unwatchable.
Hall on 62:13 pace at 10k. I think one of the women is tucked in behind him.
What did they just say Ryan Hall's 6 mile split was?
ANyway, i think they said 29:31 for Hall at 10k. He's way back in 15th or so.
The leader is way out there. At 5 miles, Bairu, cheboizo, sean forrest, and #11 were all 35 seconds back of the lead guy.
Kisorio (12:57 guy at Pre)
Gebremariam
Forrest, Bairu, and a couple of Africans in the chase pack. All strung out now.
28:30
The lag makes it pretty much unwatchable.

Man, this lag is making competitor.com look stupid! Even flotrack does a better job than this!
