I've been told the doctor scrutinizes every nook, cranny and orifice. Is this true?

I get one every year. They lift your nutsack and check between your toes, look in and around your ears, but don't touch your ass.
Now if only the hot nurses would do the exam rather than the old crusty male doctor.
If you are going for a full body exam, wouldn't you expect your full body to be examined? If you are going to get your acne looked at and he touches your nutsack, now that's a different story.

Yes, perhaps. But my arse and genitals never see the light of day, so it doesn't make sense to check them for pre/cancerous lesions.
Got a skin cancer -- squamous cell carcinoma -- removed from my upper, upper thigh.
These are the 2nd most common type of skin cancers and they can appear anywhere, even in your throat.
Skin cancer does not always occur from sun exposure.

OK- so why doesn't the doctor root around inside your butt crack in that case?
My old GF was a nurse for a derm. She told me about a guy who had penis skin cancer. U know what happened to him???
Yes, this same Dr. checked me all over. I am thankful because I had some cancer removed from my front shoulder and temple.
Jesus, you are being looked at by a Dr. Stop being "phobic" and get it done.

Are you a girl runner? I may be able to help.

Tempting, but I'll pass.

Wait. Your toes are under your nutsack?
You may have some other issues.
Will someone please confirm or deny whether a 'full body exam' includes an examination of the butt and genitals?
I'm going to the appointment in any case. I want to be as mentally prepared as possible (i.e., know whether I should drink beforehand or not).
Thanks
X-Runner - Definitely the humorous post of the week, maybe the month!
Deena Kastor said in an interview that she gets checked everywhere, even where the sun don't shine.
Had a few moles removed because of cautionary reasons. Wear shorts and be prepared to drop them.

I didn't ask her. I guess she knows what she's doing. But I've had a prostate exam and colonoscopy so she wouldn't have been going into uncharted territory.
Don't be afraid to drop your shorts. You may like it! Besides, it's a doctor. Why do you care if he/she looks at your entire body? Are you that small to where you are embarassed a professional who has seen ten's of thousands of naked bodies looks at yours and laughs out loud?
Just do yourself a favor and when they stick their finger up your butt remember to say something like "was it as good for you as it was for me?" That breaks the awkward silence of the Dr. taking your bung hole's virginity from you.
Make sure to wear slightly loose shorts, too, so when you leave with a massive erection they'll still fit.
Off to the exam, I am, I am. Wish me luck.
Pics?

What--your toes are over your nutsack? Well, somebody's got other issues...
In any case:
