Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone on here has tried Marius Bakken's Marathon Training Program and if so what were your results? It looks promising on the website but I wish I could see what it entails on a day to day basis like other training programs in books, etc. before I purchased it. I have a limited training window every day (approx 60 minutes to run each morning, pm runs generally can't be done, a long run on the weekend and maybe a second shorter long run during the week.) due to work and family obligations. With my time contstraints, getting up to 70 mpw is pushing it. I have programs from other coaches (Fleming, Pfitzinger, Daniels, etc.) that I looked at in the books before I decided to buy the books. Any information about the program would be appreciated and if Mr. Bakken reads this, I am not trying to steal the program, rather just get an idea of the daily training time obligations (like are there numerous two a days, multiple long runs per week, etc.) because I don't want to pay for a program I would not be able to use because I would have to modify it too much to fit my work, training, family schedule. I am aiming to run sub 3:15 at Amsterdam this fall. Thank you.
