Did he say teg ran 140 miles a week in the fall? Is that true? If it is there is no reason that teg should not run the 10k

That comment about how he would never work with Ritz again and that it was "hard to get paid" as Ritz's coach seemed a little unprofessional . . .

Even his sponsor had threatened his contract, because they weren’t happy with the marathon, but I think it shows that the decision to move him to the marathon was ultimately a correct one.

does he mean Nike?

Webb and gold medal should never be mentioned together unless it is "__________ won the gold medal as Webb faded to 8th".

Rupp: "oh yeah, that guy..." Pretty funny.

I’m not interested in working with Dathan. I think we both moved on.

In the last question, I like where he disagrees with JK. He talks about running longer at a faster pace.

I don't think he has another sponsor.

BELIEVE ME HE IS EXACTLT RIGHT. Please don't even start with the quality crap, it destroyed us for 15 years. It was nicer and gentler and sweeter to our sweet little children and sounded so nice. Wrong, it always was wrong! His last paragraph is DEAD RIGHT!

The last paragraph where he says;

"Look at Kenenisa Bekele, he runs 11.6 seconds for his last 100m in the final, but you have to understand he runs 150 miles a week as well"

11.6? It was 13.4

I think he mixed it up with another statement Bekele once made where he said his 100m pr was 11.6

I don't know where you're coming from but it's easier to run mileage than to do lots of "quality". running 5 in am and 12 in pm is a lot easier than gut busting 800's, 600's, 1000s day after day.

What's difficult is to do both.

His point was... Nike pays Salazar an obscene amount of money to coach Nike athletes. Nike was paying Hudson peanuts in comparison. When Dathan had a disappointing race in London, Nike used money to convince him to move to Salazar. It's no secret that Nike is paying it's athletes a ton of money to relocate to Eugene and Portland right now to work with Schumacher and Salazar.

I think Bekele ran 11.6 for the last 100 of the 3k he ran against Lagat the other day...the World Athletics Final? Or whatever it's called.

I DVR'd the 3k at the World Athletics Final, when Bekele had to go all-out, over the last 100m, to hold off Lagat.

He crossed the 100m to go line in 7:52.2. He finished in 8:03.8, which would be 11.6 for the last 100m.

This is plausible. The pace was slow, and his 100m PR is 11.0, according to this interview:
