They both never failed a drug test.
They both never failed a drug test.
I've never failed a drug test either.
The Russians were traded pee with other women's pee and got caught at it.
Okay, what's next?
Here's what they DON'T have in common: a long institutional history of doping.

You're joking righ? Mary Decker Slaney? Regina Jacobs? ding ding ding, ring a bell?
There is no differance, both are dirty to the teeth.
There's a big difference between individual athletes doping and a documented history of a national federation supporting illegal drug use.
The US women are certainly running faster, but it's not like they are cleaning up all the championship medals or running all-time top 10 performances. They are just better than they've been. That doesn't mean they are dopers.
....Search Carl Lewis on his doping case on the internet....him and other 70 were covered up.....Balco.....Jones, Gatlin,,... just to name a few. Indeed, USA doesn t have a institutional history of doping
Hello? Is this thing on?
The big difference is that the Russians WERE TRADING PEE WITH OTHER WOMEN.

I am skeptical.
And who cares anyway. They are women, they trained hard, they are fast.
At least they are not men who run in some 800 meter event and gets away with it right in front of everyone.

That's right, Anna Willard, Christin Wurth-Thomas, Shannon Rowbury and Jenny Barringer all have the same coach and manager, and USATF is heavily involved in their coaching and development and has been ever since they were identified as talents and were brought into the national system.
That would be what you're looking for, you dumbass. Russia and the US are apples and oranges in this case.

They all run for the same boss as did nearly every drug cheat ever caught in the US.
Wow, I guess someone is going to report Jenny Barringer to the NCAA for signing a professional endorsement contract. So much for NCAA XC.
Nike sponsors roughly 60% of all the US track athletes. They've all gone to NCAA D-I schools. I guess every woman that's a product of the NCAA system is also cheating? Is that right?

Stop for a moment and ask yourself this question before I proceed: do you really want to discuss this reasonably and actually try to listen to the alternative view point?
If the answer is "no," then I won't cast my pearls before swine.
I would love to read a well reasoned position that doesn't simply take correlation as causation.
