I run for an ncaa school, My oldteamates run for highschool still, and their coach told them we aren't aloud to run together, even when they and I don't have official practice. Is this an NCAA rule?
Thanks for the help

you are allowed to run together. Since you have a pre-existing relationship you can. If you didn't know them and they could be seen as possible recruits, it could be illegal.
Even if they were apart of a sanctioned club?
Somebody better tell Brett Favre!
the high school kids can't run in an NCAA team practice, but you can go run with them on your own whenever you want.
that coach is trying to sound smart, but doesn't know what he is talking about.
the only way it could be remotely against any NCAA rule is if your college coach directed you to go run with hs kids and actively recruit them on his behalf.
otherwise you are fine.
